Our mission is rooted in faith, aiming to cultivate a deep spiritual foundation that will guide our students throughout their lives.

We strive to create an environment that fosters spiritual connection and growth, intellectual curiosity, and a life-long love of learning. Our commitment to social consciousness and service encourages our students to become compassionate and engaged members of society so that they may make a positive impact in the world.

At St. Agnes we aim to empower each student to become a future leader of strong moral character led by the principals of our faith in God. Through our shared values and community spirit, we build a foundation that supports and inspires our students to reach their fullest potential in their intellectual and religious formation.

We look forward to partnering with you as we fulfill the great responsibility of developing your child's faith and academic education. We are honored to be a part of your child's journey at St. Agnes Catholic Academy.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in St. Agnes Catholic Academy. We are a co-educational Catholic school, teaching students from PreK-2 to 8th grade in Key Biscayne, FL. Accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, St. Agnes Catholic Academy is a ministry of St. Agnes Catholic Parish. Since 1973, our archdiocesan parochial school has been providing students with a comprehensive Catholic education that upholds a tradition of academic excellence and spiritual enrichment. Our academically challenging curriculum encourages students to use critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving. Beyond academics, our Catholic identity enables us to educate the whole child spiritually and morally, guided by our school’s mission of JOY: "Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last”.

At St. Agnes, we aim to develop young minds and hearts, to foster faith and values, and to enable our students to encounter the Lord so that they may be intellectually and spiritually nourished throughout their life’s journey. St. Agnes is committed to leading our school based on its 5 guiding principles: instilling our students with their Catholic Identity, providing them with Academic Excellence, cultivating Well-Rounded Students, ensuring them with a Safe and Healthy Environment, and propelling them to make a positive impact through Community Engagement.

At St. Agnes Catholic Academy, we are proud to provide an education that shapes not only our student's intellect but most importantly their moral character rooted in God's image. Join us in our journey to inspire a generation of compassionate, virtuous, and service-minded individuals who will make a difference in our world.

Vision Statement

St. Agnes Catholic Academy fosters a nurturing environment where faith and learning are inseparable. By valuing each student’s unique gifts and supporting families as primary educators, the school helps students grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically. With a focus on faith, love, respect, and academic excellence, St. Agnes Catholic Academy instills in its students the importance of being faithful, compassionate, responsible, and well-prepared individuals, who are ready to visibly live their Catholic faith and positively contribute to society.

Philosophy Statement

Let it be known to all who enter Saint Agnes Catholic Academy that Christ is the reason for this school. With this in mind, St. Agnes Catholic Academy believes that each student is a child of God with unique gifts, talents, and abilities.

St. Agnes Catholic Academy believes that the family is a fundamental unit of society, acknowledging parents as primary educators and catechists of our faith. Clergy, religious, teachers, and staff

support families in educating their children through a coherent witness of faith, an atmosphere of solidarity and fraternity, and providing faith formation opportunities for parents and families.

St. Agnes Catholic Academy believes student learning is fundamental. With mutual respect and loving concern, teachers utilize differentiated teaching strategies, hands-on experiences, and active student involvement, thereby addressing the needs and varying abilities of our students. Implementing a solid educational program, both rigorous and rooted in our Catholic faith, is essential and will inspire in them a love for learning, a joy for discovering the Truth, and a desire to integrate faith into learning and life. Through ongoing evaluation, we revise curriculum, policies, and teaching practices based on current research and best practices.

St. Agnes Catholic Academy believes that, by planting and nurturing the seeds of our Catholic faith while equipping students with life skills and a desire for truth, we can help form our students to be responsible, creative, socially conscience, and faith-filled people capable of building a society worthy of the human person. In this way, students learn that true happiness comes from living in accordance with the Lord’s will and remembering our goal is Heaven.

St. Agnes Catholic Academy believes that a healthy environment that respects each person’s dignity of being made in the image and likeness of God is essential to the development of a child. We do this by providing a safe campus, positive student-teacher interactions, support personnel and fostering peer-to-peer interactions based on mutual respect and love. As Catholics, we value diversity and promote respect between all cultural, economic, and religious backgrounds.
