STREAM Teacher
St. Agnes Catholic Academy – Key Biscayne, FL
St. Agnes Catholic Academy in Key Biscayne, Florida is seeking a creative, technologically innovative, and faith-filled STREAM Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The STREAM Teacher will design and implement engaging, K-gr 8 hands-on, and problem-based learning experiences using state-of-the-art SmartLab technology, recently upgraded this school year. SmartLab provides students with innovative, project-based learning experiences through robotics, coding, engineering design, digital media, and collaborative exploration. Training will be provided.
This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire students through interdisciplinary learning that integrates Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics while supporting the mission of forming students academically, spiritually, and morally in alignment with the values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of one year of STEM/STREAM curriculum and instructional experience preferred
• FDOE Teaching Certification in K-8 (Temporary or Professional) required
• Experience integrating educational technology including iPads, robotics, coding platforms, and instructional software
• Ability to design interdisciplinary, project-based learning opportunities
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with students, parents, and faculty
• Demonstrates professionalism, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Demonstrate good moral character and support the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Catholic school environment preferred
• Knowledge and respect for the teachings of the Catholic Church
Responsibilities Include:
• Teach STREAM curriculum to students in grades K-8
• Develop hands-on, inquiry-based SmartLab learning experiences
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate STREAM concepts across subject areas
• Foster student creativity, teamwork, and innovation
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction and student engagement
• Maintain positive communication with parents and school community
• Support school-wide STREAM initiatives, events, and academic competitions
• Perform all duties aligned with Archdiocese of Miami policies and school mission

St. Agnes Catholic Academy is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Special Education (ESE) Teacher for the 2025–26 school year. The ESE Teacher will collaborate with general education teachers to provide differentiated instruction and support to students with exceptional needs (ESE) in inclusive classrooms, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and achieve learning goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and adapt lessons.
Provide individualized and small group instruction.
Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement and appropriate interventions.
Communicate regularly with staff and parents to ensure coordinated support.
Implement accommodations from Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs).
Monitor and assess student progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education required; Master’s preferred.
FDOE certification in Special Education required.
Minimum one year of experience with students with diverse learning needs.
Strong understanding of special education principles and ILP development.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and instructional technology skills.
Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
