2026-2027 Application Process
Thank you for your interest in St. Agnes Catholic Academy. We are very proud of our school! We anticipate that the most important reason for parents electing to send their child to St. Agnes Catholic Academy is the opportunity to learn more about their faith and to have the moral and ethical values taught at home reinforced daily at school.

OPEN HOUSE
Applicants and their families interested in applying to St. Agnes Catholic Academy are encouraged to visit the school during our Open House on November 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM. We welcome you to this annual event, where you can explore the many wonderful aspects of St. Agnes Catholic Academy. You will have the chance to tour our beautiful campus, visit classrooms, and meet our dedicated teachers.

This form gives St Agnes Catholic Academy permission to receive the applicant’s final school file from his/her previous school.
Note: International transfer students will require their records to be translated. Some students may be asked to attain an equivalency transcript evaluation. If interested on 7th and 8th Grade, this option is available only to persons relocating from outside Miami Dade County.

The completion of the St Agnes’ admissions application automatically registers your child for the Admissions Entrance Exam. The Entrance Exam will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Academy. Entrance exams are by appointment only.
Applicant must be present to take entrance exam in order to maintain status in first round of applicants.
An appointment time will be emailed to each applicant prior to the testing date.
Grade PK 2 to Grade 1 – Screening and parent interview will be conducted.
Grade 2 to Grade 7 – Applicants will be administered Math and Reading assessment and be interviewed.
Students requiring extended time must notify the Admissions Director by emailing admissions@stagneskb.us. The Admissions Director must receive a copy of the applicant's valid Psycho-Educational evaluation (three-year validity period) and an ILP or 504 Accommodation Plan currently being used at the applicant's school. These documents need to be requested by the parents/guardians and sent to our Admissions Director. The documentation must be received and approved by the Admissions Director before Wednesday, December 10, 2025 for accommodations to be provided for the Saturday, January 10, 2026 exam.

Login to the Admissions Portal to send a reminder email to the teachers.
Letters of recommendation will be sent to teachers through the portal and be returned directly back to us.
You can watch the progress in the Admissions Portal, please monitor it until it is complete.

Applicants who have a complete admissions file will receive a decision email on January 30, 2026.
Late decision emails will be sent upon completion of the file and decision made.
Some students may not be accepted because the school’s educational program and facilities are not able to meet the needs of the child. Due to an increase of applications, the school cannot accept all applicants. There is a possibility for the applicant to be placed on a waiting list. Those students not accepted are encouraged to enroll in the parish Religious Education classes (CCD).
Please note that the submittal of the online application and the required supporting documents does not constitute a guarantee of acceptance.

- Previous 2 years grades
- Current year 1st quarter grade for January testing
- Previous year’s Standardized test scores
Recommendation Letters:
- Principal Recommendation ALL grades
- Teacher Recommendation PK – grade 5 (PK if applicable)
- Math Teacher Recommendation Grades 6-8
- English Language Arts teacher Recommendation Grades 6-8
- Standardized Tests Results // Examples are:
SAT (the Standard Achievement Test is administered within Miami-Dade County Public School system from kindergarten through 2nd grade)
FSA - inclusive of Language Arts and Mathematics (the Florida Standards Assessment is administered within the Miami-Dade County Public School system beginning in 3rd grade)
Terranova (this exam is administered within Archdiocese of Miami elementary schools beginning in 2nd grade)
i-Ready (this diagnostic tool is administered within the Miami-Dade Public School system in grades Kindergarten through 8th)
Should the applicant’s current school require a parent-completed Release of Education Records authorization form in order for them to release and send the records directly to St. Agnes Catholic Academy, the PDF form may be found HERE.
This form must be submitted to the applicant’s current school by the parent. St. Agnes Catholic Academy will not submit this form to the current school on a parent’s behalf.
Entrance exams are by appointment only.
Once you complete the application and submit the required documents, you will be emailed an appointment date and time for your student to take the entrance exam.
