5th Grade Explores Ancient Civilizations

Our 5th graders stepped back in time to explore the lives of ancient civilizations!

Each group researched a different tribe, from the rainforests of the Maya to the highlands of the Aztec Empire and the desert cliffs of the Anasazi, and illustrated how geography and climate shaped daily life.

Through drawings and research, they compared geography, shelter, food, clothing, and culture, discovering the creative and resourceful ways people adapted to their environments. Incredible projects that bring history to life!
