Science you can eat!

Our seventh graders have been learning about animal and plant cells, and they brought their lessons to life in the sweetest way. Using cake and a variety of candies, students built edible cell models, with each candy standing in for a different organelle.

They labeled every part and created a candy key to explain what each piece represented. From planning and preparation to the final presentation, our students were fully engaged, creative, and proud of their work.
