Teacher Qualifications
St. Agnes Catholic Academy employs or contracts teachers who hold baccalaureate or higher degrees, have at least three years of teaching experience in public or private schools, or possess special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualify them to provide instruction in the subjects they teach.
Statement of Non-Discrimination
St. Agnes Catholic Academy, as part of the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Miami, has an open admission policy. No person, on the grounds of race, color, sex, disability, or national origin, is excluded or otherwise subjected to discrimination in receiving services at this school.
The school does not discriminate in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral, and other aspects of employment on the basis of race, color, sex, disability, age, or national origin. All students, personnel, and applicants are protected under this policy, consistent with applicable federal laws and regulations.
Students with Disabilities
St. Agnes Catholic Academy does not discriminate against students with disabilities. The school provides minor adjustments necessary to accommodate students with disabilities. A delay in disclosing a student’s disability and/or an accommodation request may delay or impede the school’s ability to make certain accommodations. Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to disclose student disabilities and requested accommodations prior to registration. Such disclosures should be made to the Registrar of St. Agnes Catholic Academy.
