Honoring Our Champions & Teachers at the Academy Mass
At the Academy Mass last week, Fr. JC honored our soccer champions, both the girls’ and boys’ teams, for their commitment, discipline, and teamwork. Dr. Seuss Day at St. Agnes☀️
What a joyful day celebrating reading together! Our students gathered on the field in the sunshine and shade to enjoy stories, laughter, and wonderful Dr. Seuss costumes.
Older students shared the joy of reading by reading aloud to our younger ones, creating a beautiful moment of learning and friendship across grades.
“Oh, the places we’ll go… together!” A perfect reminder of the joy that books, sunshine, and being together bring to our students.
Happy Birthday, Ruby!
Our PK4 students began the celebration by singing “Happy Birthday” to Ruby in their classroom, filling the room with joy and big smiles. Later, the celebration continued in the cafeteria, where students from multiple grades and the staff joined in to share the love and appreciation!
Ruby, thank you for all that you do for our St. Agnes family each day. We are so grateful for you. May God bless you abundantly!
PK2: A Morning in Our Lady’s Butterfly Garden 🦋🌸
Our PK2 students enjoyed a beautiful visit to Our Lady’s Butterfly Garden! They lovingly watered the plants, shared a sweet picnic together, and gathered to listen carefully as their teachers read stories aloud.
A peaceful morning of nature, learning, and simple joy, growing hearts and little hands in God’s creation.
8th Grade Leads with Heart
We are so proud of our 8th graders for leading a successful food drive! Through their leadership and generosity, they reminded our entire community what it means to serve with compassion and purpose.
Serving with open hands and generous hearts, that’s the St. Agnes way.
PK4 Sunday Mass Chart Success!
Our PK4 Sunday Mass chart is working! We are so proud of our little ones for faithfully attending Mass with their families and growing in their love for Jesus week by week.
Seeing so many PK4 students participating reminds us that even the smallest hearts are learning beautiful habits of faith.
Morning Before the Lord
This week, our students spent a quiet and grace-filled morning in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. It was beautiful to witness how prayerfully they entered into the silence, attentive, reverent, and truly present before the Lord.
May these moments before Jesus continue to shape their lives and deepen their friendship with Him.
5th Grade Brings Food Chains to Life
5th grade class built food chain models using recycled materials. Students learned and applied the vocabulary words producer, consumer, decomposer, niche, and environment while exploring how energy flows through ecosystems. They also learned about the movement of matter and energy, how the components of an ecosystem interact, and how living things depend on one another through important relationships within an ecosystem. This project helped students understand how each role is important for a healthy environment and appreciate the responsibility we have to care for God’s creation. 🙌🏻
Kindergarten Delivers Smiles
Our Kindergarten students made heartfelt cards for Father and personally delivered them to his office! During their visit, he kindly gave them a little tour, making the moment even more special.
Such a sweet way to show gratitude, joy, and the love that makes St. Agnes feel like family.
PK4 Peacemakers Taking a Nap with Jesus
Our PK4 Peacemakers had the sweetest reminder of faith during nap time, resting peacefully with Jesus by their side. What a beautiful way to show our youngest students that He is always near. In PK4, faith is lived out in simple and meaningful ways. Students are also excitedly using their Sunday Mass chart, encouraging families to attend Mass together and grow in love for the Lord. And through the creative things they build and create, our little ones are learning that LOVE can be shown in everything we do.
A Very Blessed Ash Wednesday
Blessed beginning of the holy season of Lent. Last Wednesday, our St. Agnes Academy community gathered for Holy Mass to begin the sacred season of Lent in prayer, reflection, and unity. It was a beautiful reminder that Lent is not a journey we walk alone, but together as a school family.
Our youngest students gathered reverently in the school chapel, where Sister Ana Pia, SCTJM, and Sister Alyssa, SCTJM, lovingly distributed the ashes. Witnessing the faith and devotion of our little ones as they received the sign of the cross on their foreheads was truly moving.
January Peacemakers: Living the Virtue of Fortitude

Our Butterfly Garden Is Growing Strong! 🦋🌿
The Butterfly Garden survived the winter, and we are not giving up! Just like our students, the seedlings are growing at their own pace, little by little. We’re also excited to share that additional seedlings are coming soon! We are currently looking for “weekend waterers” to help care for our garden. If you’re interested in watering, please let Ms. Laly Romero Rodriguez know. Together, we help things grow, in the garden and in our community.
