Come Join Our Children’s Mass!

Dear St. Agnes Academy Families,

Blessings!

Every Sunday at 10:00 a.m., something very special happens at St. Agnes.

Our church fills with children, families, joyful music, prayer, and a beautiful sense that this is truly their Church and their home.

Our Academy children are joined by the children from our Religious Education program, giving us a wonderful opportunity to come together as one St. Agnes family to worship the Lord.

Behind this Mass there is a wonderful team working with great love and dedication: our Academy Faith Formation team, Religious Education Department, Music Ministry, priests, sisters and brothers, ushers, volunteers, and many others.

We all share the same desire:

to give our best for the best, our children.

We want them to experience a Mass that is joyful, welcoming, reverent, and centered on Jesus. We want them to understand that Sunday Mass is not simply something they attend. It is something they belong to.

And there are many beautiful ways for them to participate.

Some children may feel called to serve at the altar. Others may enjoy proclaiming the Word of God. Some may discover that their voice can help lead the whole congregation in worship through our Children’s Choir.

We especially hope to strengthen the choir with more young voices. They do not need to be professional singers. They simply need a willing heart, a desire to learn, and the joy of offering their gifts to God.

If your child would like to participate as a lector, altar server, or member of the Children’s Choir, simply speak with one of our Faith Formation, Religious Education, or Music Ministry team members on Sunday. We would be delighted to help them become involved.

These years pass so quickly. This is a precious time to help our children discover Jesus, the Eucharist, the joy of prayer, and the beauty of belonging to the Church.

So I warmly invite you:

Bring your children. Bring their gifts. Bring their joy.

There is a place for them here.
